Bollywood star Vicky Kaushal is all set to portray the role of Maratha Warrior King Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj in the upcoming epic action drama ‘Chhaava’. Directed by Laxman Utekar, the film stars Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna as the lead pair, with Akshaye Khanna in a pivotal role.
The makers of ‘Chhaava’ unveiled the first glimpse earlier, before the screening of Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao’s film ‘Stree 2’. Following a surge of excitement among fans, the film team released the official teaser today.
The one-minute, 12-second teaser offers a captivating glimpse into a visual extravaganza packed with intense battle scenes, presenting Vicky Kaushal in a never-seen avatar. He looks fierce in the role of Sambhaji Maharaj, the son of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. The teaser highlights Vicky Kaushal single-handedly fighting against the warriors, with Akshaye Khanne portraying Aurangzeb in the negative role.
Rashmika Mandanna appears in the role of Yesubai Bhonsale, the wife of Chattrapati Sambhaji Maharaj. The film also features Suniel Shetty, Divya Dutta, Ashutosh Rana, and others in pivotal roles.
This epic saga is produced by Dinesh Vijan under the esteemed production house of Maddock Films. Musical maestro AR Rehman is composing the enchanting soundtracks for this flick. Slated for a worldwide theatrical release on December 6, the film will face off against Allu Arjun’s highly anticipated sequel, ‘Pushpa 2: The Rise’, directed by Sukumar. The film also stars Rashmika Mandanna as the female lead.
