The most hyped horror drama in Tamil Industry, Chandramukhi-2 is gearing up for its release this year and meanwhile, the composer MM Keeravani is increasing the buzz on this movie with his latest revelations.
The Oscar-winning composer teamed up for the first time in recent years for a straight Tamil Cinema. Touted to be the sequel of the blockbuster Chandramukhi, the stakes are high since the director Vasu who made ‘Nagavalli’ in Telugu doesn’t want to repeat the same mistake. So he roped in Keeravani to compose the songs and background score. Keeravani already proved that he was the right choice for the project as the released first single ‘Swagathanjali’ became an instant hit. Furthermore, this musician revealed that not just this but the album of Chandramukhi-2 will have a total of 10 songs as the script demanded it. He thanked the entire team for this opportunity and declared that the movie will surely hit the bullseye with horror elements.
Written and directed by P Vasu, this movie is produced by Lyca Productions with a huge budget. Raghava Lawrence is reprising the role of Rajinikanth as Psychiatrist in the sequel while Kangana Ranaut is donning the role of Chandramukhi. Already the first looks of the main leads created a sensation and increased the much-needed hype among the netizens. Chandramukhi-2 will be released on the 15th of September, 2023 in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi languages.
