Amaravati: TDP leader N. Chandrababu Naidu wrote to the Andhra Pradesh Governor, accusing the YSRCP government of exploiting the state enforcement agency to target opposition figures. He claimed that the establishment of the Andhra Pradesh State Directorate for Revenue Intelligence (APSDRI) was a deliberate move to financially and politically harass TDP leaders. Naidu urged the governor to intervene and put an end to what he perceives as unjust tactics employed by the ruling party.
In his letter, Naidu highlighted instances of APSDRI imposing fines, conducting arrests, and conducting unannounced searches at the homes and businesses of opposition members. He expressed concern that such actions were intended to weaken the TDP financially and politically. Naidu’s plea to the governor underscores the ongoing tensions between the TDP and the YSRCP in Andhra Pradesh.
