It is very well known that former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Nara Chandrababu Naidu was sent to judicial remand in connection with the Skill Development Scam. The ACB court denied bail to Chandrababu to which he moved to High Court. However, the vacation bench judge chose to withdraw from the session stating “Not before me!”
The case was transferred to the vacation bench by the AP High Court and today when the case came to the hearing, the honorable Judge Justice Venkata Jyotirmayi declined to hear the case and withdrew from it.
Due to this, the case will be back to the Chief Justice of the High Court who in turn will decide which bench will be responsible for hearing Chandrababu Naidu’s bail petition. Chandrababu Naidu has been in the Rajahmundry Central Prison for the past month and half and a few petitions are in High Court and Supreme Court regarding this.
