Amaravati: Senior BJP leaders, including Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, convened with TDP leader N Chandrababu Naidu and Janasena chief Pawan Kalyan on Monday to solidify NDA candidates for the forthcoming Parliamentary and Assembly elections in Andhra Pradesh. Union Jal Shakti Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat and party national vice-president Baijayant Jay Panda engaged in discussions with Chandrababu Naidu and Pawan Kalyan regarding the selection of alliance candidates, as per TDP sources.
While the number of seats allocated to each party remains unchanged, deliberations centered on finalizing constituencies. Sources suggest that BJP is eyeing six Parliamentary seats, with further details and potential candidates to be decided upon in discussions with central leadership in Delhi ahead of a crucial election meeting scheduled for Tuesday.
