Hyderabad: Successive actions by BRS MLAs are causing a stir within the high command. Medchal MLA Malla Reddy has announced his intention to meet Chief Minister Revanth Reddy in the near future. Rajasekhar Reddy, Malla Reddy’s son-in-law, also holds the position of MLA from Malkajgiri. Malla Reddy held an informal discussion with the media at Telangana Bhavan, stating, “There’s nothing wrong if we meet the chief minister for the development of the constituency.” He emphasized his friendship with Revanth Reddy, mentioning their past collaboration in the TDP.
Malla Reddy assured the media that he would provide prior information about the meeting without any secrecy. Expressing his views on the recent election results, Malla Reddy remarked, “They will lose. I never anticipated Congress would emerge victorious. While losing is a shock to them, winning is a surprise to the Congress.” He acknowledged the ongoing shock within their ranks but mentioned a gradual recovery. Responding to the possibility of contesting as the Malkajgiri MP, Malla Reddy revealed, “KCR has suggested me to contest as Malkajgiri MP, but I prefer my son Bhadra Reddy to receive the ticket. Regardless of the candidate, I will actively campaign for BRS’s victory.”
