Hyderabad: Former minister and Siddipet MLA Harish Rao criticized the handling of the Medigadda project and urged for its full repair before the upcoming monsoon to ensure safety. Speaking to the media after the adjournment of the assembly, Harish Rao accused Congress leaders of exploiting the Kaleshwaram project for political gains and failing to fulfill six guarantees. He denounced the white paper on irrigation presented in the assembly as flawed and misleading, asserting that it lacked credibility.
Despite highlighting errors in the document, Harish Rao noted a lack of response from the government, warning against attempts to manipulate the Medigadda issue for electoral advantage. Regarding the KRMB issue, he criticized the release of a white paper and the subsequent failure to address pertinent questions, emphasizing the need for accountability and transparency.
