Actor Brahmaji has criticized comedian Prudhvi’s controversial remarks at the pre-release event of Laila, starring Vishwak Sen. Prudhvi’s comments, referring to a reduction in the number of goats in the film from 150 to 11, sparked outrage among YSRCP supporters, leading to calls for a boycott of the movie on social media. Following the backlash, both Prudhvi and the film’s team issued apologies.
Addressing the controversy, Brahmaji stated that Prudhvi’s remarks were inappropriate and should not have been made at a film-related event. “The elections are over, and there is no need to bring up such topics now,” he remarked. Brahmaji further pointed out that Vishwak Sen was the one who suffered unnecessarily due to the controversy and asserted that those who criticized Prudhvi over the issue were justified.
