Boyapati Seenu has teamed up with the young actor Ram Pothineni for an out-and-out action entertainer film Skanda.
Amidst good hype and expectations, this film has been released but somewhere it didn’t connect with the audience as expected. But Boyapati seems to have a different theory for this. Interacting with the media, Boyapati claimed that the film Skanda has reached his target audience and he stated he is quite satisfied with the outcome of the result. When one of the reporters questioned that the music of Skanda is not on par with Akhanda, Boyapati replied that Akhanda is a great film that will work even without the music but Skanda doesn’t fall under that category.
This hasn’t gone well with Thaman fans and some section of the audience. Akhanda is one of the finest works of Boyapati and no one can deny it but at the same time, Thaman has taken the film to the next level with his thumping background score and music. He has played a key role in the gigantic success of Akhanda. Boyapati has faced a similar criticism before as well. He made similar comments on Devi Sri Prasad in the audio launch event to which the young music director confronted it on the stage itself. After that, the duo haven’t worked on a film till now. Have to wait and see whether Thaman reacts to Boyapati’s comments or just ignores them.
