Boyapati brand is working big time for Skanda

Despite sticking to a formulaic approach, Tollywood director Boyapati Srinu commands a solid craze among trade circles. His film largely cater to the masses despite not breaking the mould. This is why he makes sure his films are packed with an overdose of masala elements.

With his upcoming film Skanda, starring Ram Pothineni in the lead role, Boyapati is going to offer another mass feast with his signature-style narration. As his previous outing Akhanda saw strong success at the box office, the theatrical and non-theatrical business of Skanda has fetched phenomenal prices for the makers.

It is a known fact the theatrical rights of Skanda were snapped for more than 50 Crores inclusive of all territories. Now, the non-theatrical rights have been bagged for a whopping 98 Crores including the digital, satellite and audio rights.

Overall, the film has done a phenomenal 150 Crore business so far. This is a sensational deal for the makers. The explosive trailer received a thumping response despite its familiarity because of brand Boyapati and Ram’s craze.

Skanda stars Sree Leela as the female lead. This is another reason why the buyers are betting big on the film. Ram appears in a dynamic role and the songs have already garnered a strong response.

The film is slated for release on September 15th. Srinivasaa Silver Screen banner is the production house behind this project.
