Ram Pothineni’s Skanda which was released amidst good hype and expectations got a spectacular start on day one by collecting 8.62 crores net at the box office.
Touted to be a mass entertainer with high-octane action sequences, Boyapati’s Skanda has tumbled at the ticket window on day two. The dip in collections has not only shocked the trade but also the audience. This film has collected merely half of the first day, shocking the makers and distributors. As the movie is heading towards the weekend and Monday being the Gandhi Jayanthi the makers expect that the film might pick up the momentum. Have to wait and see how far Skanda regains the momentum in the weekend.
Ram Pothineni, Sree Leela, and Sai Manjrekar are seen in the lead roles in this film. Thaman has scored the music and Srinivasa Chitturi has produced this film.
