Amaravati: The YSRCP reportedly plans to nominate Jhansi, the wife of Minister Botsa Satyanarayana, as the Visakhapatnam MP candidate. Jhansi, a former Vizianagaram MP, has been chosen by Jagan based on social considerations. The Botsa family holds a significant position in Uttarandhra politics, and it is reported that Botsa has accepted the party’s decision.
Meanwhile, YSRCP has already declared MVV Satyanarayana as its candidate for Visakhapatnam East. Jhansi, a multi-talented woman, served as the Lok Sabha representative for Vizianagaram from 2009 to 2014. Recently, she became a high court advocate after completing her MA, LLB, and LLM. Despite her involvement in active politics, Jhansi pursued higher education and joined the Andhra Pradesh High Court Bar Association last year.
