In his upcoming tentpole film, Kalki 2898AD, a dystopian science fiction thriller on par with Hollywood standards, Bollywood Diva Disha Patani is appearing in a pivotal role. The sultry siren, who is known for portraying glamourous avatars both onscreen and off-screen, is going to be seen in a de-glam character for the first time in her career.
It is quite surprising that Disha has okayed to appear in the role of a traditional girl. But, the reason behind this is that the film has Prabhas in the lead role. She signed the dotted line because the character has great importance in the narrative.
Disha is making a comeback to Tollywood after a considerable gap. She made her debut with Varun Tej’s Loafer. The film ended as a colossal failure at the box office. But, her glam show drew the attention of Telugu moviegoers.
Disha is hoping that Kalki 2898AD will give a big break for her. The film also stars Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan and Kamal Haasan in significant roles. Nag Ashwin is the director.
