At a time when the entire nation has been going gaga over Prabhas for his recent success with Kalki 2898AD, notable Bollywood actor Arshad Warsi kicked off a controversy with his critical remarks on the Baahubali actor regarding his screen presence. His unwarranted statements are now the talking point in the media circles because they appears to be subjective out of envy.
During his recent interview for a Bollywood show, Arshad Warsi said he didn’t like Kalki 2898AD and revealed that watching the film hurt him. He made shocking comments on Prabhas’ portrayal as Bhairava and said the Adipurush actor looked like a Joker in the Kalki 2898AD. Surprisingly, Warsi heaped praises on Amitabh Bachchan who was seen as Ashwathama in the same film.
Warsi said ” I can’t understand that man. I swear if we got the power he has, life ban jaae (our lives would be set). He’s unreal.” However, he didn’t stop himself from criticising Prabhas’ portrayal of Bhairava.
“Prabhas, I am really sad, why was he… he was like a joker. Why? I want to see a Mad Max. I want to see Mel Gibson over there. Tumne usko kya bana dia yaar. Kyu karte ho aisa? Mujhe nahin samajh mein aata (What have you made of it? Why do they do such things? I never understand),” he criticised during his reaction to Kalki 2898AD. Arshad’s controversial reaction has certainly stirred up some buzz.
Immediately after these comments went viral, netizens started roasting Warsi for his biased and senseless talk. They are trolling him that Bollywood has no actor who can match the towering personality of Prabhas and his onscreen aura. Many expressed that Warsi made these comments only to grab the attention of the media as Prabhas is currently ruling the roost and anything about him would make headlines.
