BJP MP CM Ramesh Alleges KTR Approached Him To Merge BRS Into BJP

Friday, December 5, 2025

Anakapalle BJP MP CM Ramesh expressed his anger over BRS Executive President KT Rama Rao’s allegations against him regarding the Rs. 1660 crore contract works for Rithvik Company in Telangana. He made it clear that it was true that he got the contract in collusion with Chief Minister Revanth Reddy. Moreover, he said that he had no connection with that company.

He criticized that just as Jaganmohan Reddy had a fight with his sister in Andhra, KTR is also talking crazy about his sister’s fight in Telangana. Meanwhile, Ramesh advised him to remember what KTR said when he came to his house in Delhi four months ago.

Did you say that you are ready to merge the BRS party with the BJP if arrangements are made to release Kavitha so that the corruption in your government does not come out? Or not? He challenged them to clarify. Ramesh alleged that he was making such allegations because he had discussed with his party leaders and they made it clear that BRS is a corrupt party, its clout in Telangana is over and they have no business with it.

He asked KTR “Do you want me to tell you how you won as an MLA with a majority of 300 votes when you formed an alliance with the TDP?”. When asked why his party left a leader like Tummala Nageswara Rao, Ramesh said that KTR bluntly replied his party did not need Kamma castes and that even the Reddys in their party had gone behind Revanth after Revanth won.

Ramesh claimed that KTR made it clear that his party was presently traveling with Jaganmohan Reddy in AP. The BJP MP accused that KTR is making baseless allegations against him fearing that in future TDP and BJP are likely to work together in Telangana also, by which BRS would be wipeout.

He said that during the ten-year rule of BRS, contracts worth about Rs. 7 lakh crore were given in Telangana. Who gave them to whom? How many contractors are from Telangana? How many are from Andhra?, he asked. He challenged that if KTR is courageous enough, let him come to discuss before the media.

However, KTR challenged both CM Ramesh and CM Revanth Reddy to come together and have an open debate on the Rs. 10,000 crore HCU land scam and the Rs. 1660 crore road contract scam. KTR asserted that the BRS party, which was established for the people of Telangana, will never merge with other parties.

He said that BRS is a party that fights for the rights of the people of Telangana, but alleged that Congress-BJP supporters are trying to mislead the people by publishing news of BRS merger every time they are in trouble.
