Vijayawada: MP GVL Narasimha Rao clarified that the central government has not issued any official statement regarding the BJP’s alliance with the Telugu Desam-JanaSena (TDP-Jana Sena) parties. He emphasized that alliance decisions will be determined by the Centre, and the party is fully prepared for the upcoming elections. Speaking to the media at the BJP office on Saturday, he stated, “We are proceeding according to the directives provided to us.”
He reiterated that the national leadership will designate the constituencies for contesting and affirmed that the party will strengthen further until the Centre’s announcement. Assuring support for Andhra Pradesh’s development, he mentioned ongoing discussions with election management committees regarding election strategies. Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh’s visit to Andhra Pradesh on the 27th of this month was noted, with planned meetings scheduled with parliamentary clusters.
