Vijayawada: AP BJP President Daggubati Purandeswari stated that their party’s final decision on an alliance with TDP-Janasena would be determined by the high command. After two days of crucial meetings, which concluded today, National Joint Event Secretary Shiv Prakash engaged in discussions with the party’s key leaders and district representatives. Over 125 leaders participated in these sessions.
Purandeswari briefed the media on the meeting outcomes, emphasizing discussions on the state’s political landscape and the party’s current status under Shiv Prakash’s guidance. Feedback on potential candidates for the 175 Assembly and 25 MP seats in AP was collected and will be presented to the national party leadership.
Additionally, preparations for the upcoming elections saw the vetting of approximately 2000 candidates, with parliamentary committees tasked with finalizing selections. Purandeswari stressed that decisions regarding alliances and candidate selection would be contingent upon directives from the party’s central leadership.
