Kakinada: Daggubati Purandeswari, the BJP AP president, confirmed the continuation of the alliance with the Jana Sena party during her visit to Kakinada. She stated that there would be no development in the state without the support of the Modi government. Purandeswari alleged that the Jagan government claimed no assistance despite receiving substantial funds from the Centre.
She emphasized her visits were to understand the political situation in the districts and accused the state government of neglecting its responsibilities. Purandeswari addressed issues such as the alliance with TDP, opposition to substandard liquor and sand irregularities, and advocated for the exclusive religious use of TTD funds. She criticized Jagan’s administration for suppressing voices advocating for the people, questioning the need for a veiled Chief Minister.
