Daggubati Purandeswari, the state president of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Andhra Pradesh, conducted an inspection at Sheelanagar ESI Hospital in Visakhapatnam. Addressing the media during the visit, she made contentious remarks against the government, raising concerns about the occupancy of the Kadapa airport.
Purandeswari expressed suspicions, suggesting that individuals are arriving in Visakhapatnam for the sole purpose of exploiting lands. Furthermore, Purandeswari questioned the state government’s credibility, particularly in its criticism of the central government regarding the metro rail project. She called for transparency, urging the government to disclose when it submitted the Detailed Project Report (DPR).
Purandeswari criticized the current state government, labeling it as a “sticker government.” She asserted that the government’s inability to allocate TIDCO houses and allegations of deceptive practices toward the poor reflect its dire state. Purandeswari highlighted issues such as TIDCO mortgaging houses and beneficiaries receiving notices for loans taken.
