BRS MLA Tellam Venkata Rao Joins Congress

In Hyderabad, Bhadrachalam BRS MLA Tellam Venkat Rao officially joined the Congress on Sunday, in the presence of TPCC president and Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy. Minister Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy welcomed him into the party by draping him with the Congress tri-colour shawl.

Venkat Rao, the sole BRS legislator from Khammam district, becomes the third MLA to switch allegiance after Danam Nagendar (Khairatabad) and Kadiam Srihari (Station Ghanpur). Alongside Venkat Rao, several BRS leaders and activists also transitioned to the Congress. Revanth Reddy urged Venkat Rao to focus on enhancing development initiatives and strengthening Congress presence in his constituency.
