Elections were held today for the Telugu Film Chamber of Commerce (TFCC) following the completion of Dil Raju’s tenure as president. Producers, studio owners, exhibitors, and distributors participated in the voting process.
Bharat Bhushan, a Visakhapatnam-based distributor, has been elected as the new president of the TFCC. Bhushan, representing the distributor sector, competed against Tagore Madhu from Nellore. Bhushan secured the presidency with 29 votes, while Tagore Madhu received 17 votes.
The election for the vice-president position also took place today. Producer Ashok Kumar emerged victorious in the contest against YVS Chowdary. Ashok Kumar received 28 votes, compared to Chowdary’s 18 votes.
