Karimnagar MP Bandi Sanjay Kumar has assumed office as the Union Minister of State for Home Affairs in a ceremony held at the Home Ministry office in North Block, Delhi. Bandi Sanjay emphasized his commitment to national security and stated that he would work under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah.
Before his new appointment, Bandi Sanjay Kumar was elected as the MP for Karimnagar in 2019 and served as the Telangana State President of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) from March 11, 2020, to July 3, 2023. He played a key role in the party’s regional growth before becoming the BJP’s National General Secretary. As the Union Minister of State for Home Affairs, he is set to significantly impact the country’s safety and security efforts.
