Balakrishna Opens Up on Daughter Brahmani’s Film Offer on Unstoppable Show

Nandamuri Balakrishna’s talk show Unstoppable on the OTT platform Aha continues its impressive run, cementing its position as one of India’s top talk shows. The show, now in its fourth season, has been garnering attention with its high-profile guests and engaging conversations.
In the latest episode of Season 4, director Bobby, music composer Thaman, and producer Naga Vamsi joined Balakrishna as guests. During the interaction, Balakrishna shared an interesting anecdote about his elder daughter Brahmani’s unexpected brush with the film industry.
Responding to a question from Thaman, Balakrishna revealed that acclaimed director Mani Ratnam had once approached Brahmani with an offer to play the lead in one of his films. “I conveyed the offer to her, but she simply asked, ‘My face?’ I told her, ‘Yes, it’s for your face!’ However, she eventually declined the opportunity, stating she wasn’t interested,” Balakrishna recalled.
Talking about his younger daughter, Tejaswini, Balakrishna shared that she showed signs of interest in acting during her childhood. “Tejaswini used to stand in front of the mirror and act. I thought she might step into films,” he said. Interestingly, Tejaswini is now contributing to the Unstoppable show as a creative consultant.
Expressing pride in his daughters’ achievements, Balakrishna added, “Both my daughters have excelled in their respective fields. If they can proudly say they are my daughters, that’s all I need as a father.”
