Natasimha Nandamuri Balakrishna is ready to collaborate again with director Gopichand Malineni for a fresh action entertainer. Having created a huge blockbuster with Veera Simha Reddy, the dynamic actor-director duo is all set to come together again for another promising venture.
With Jaat out of the way behind him, Gopichand has devoted all his energy towards Balakrishna’s forthcoming film. Sources indicate that the director has borrowed a pre-existing story and cleverly remoulded it to suit Balayya’s larger-than-life persona and high-octane approach. The movie will reportedly launch officially on June 8, with ordinary shooting likely to be begin from October.
Famous for his fast and fastidious production process, Gopichand is likely to complete most of the shooting within a mere three to four months, leaving a sufficient duration for post-production and quality improvements.
Meanwhile, Balakrishna is busy with the shoot of Akhanda 2 with Boyapati Srinu at the helm. Although the makers initially revealed a September release date, rumors in the trade suggest a likely postponement. If the release is delayed, Akhanda 2 could arrive on screens near Dussehra in October. This change in calendar might have a direct impact on the beginning of Balakrishna’s next film with Gopichand, as dates will be coordinated accordingly.
Balayya’s fans will have double celebrations later this year as Akhanda 2 and release of his next big film with Gopichand Malineni are both scheduled during festive times.
