Tollywood’s grand spectacle ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ has stormed the global box office, amassing over 700 crores in just six days. Directed by Nag Ashwin, the film stars Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, and Amitabh Bachchan in pivotal roles.
Following the first part’s conclusion, Nag Ashwin announced the continuation of the Kalki universe, stirring excitement among fans awaiting the sequel. Producer Ashwini Dutt has now revealed that 60% of the second installment of ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ has already been filmed.
In a recent update, Ashwini Dutt announced intentions to commence filming the sequel by year’s end, targeting a release in May or June 2025. This news has excited fans of Prabhas and all who enjoyed the initial installment of the epic saga.
The film also features performances by Kamal Haasan, Disha Patani, Rajendra Prasad, Shobha, and other prominent actors. Produced by Vyjayanthi Movies, the movie is accompanied by a captivating soundtrack composed by Santhosh Narayanan.
