Senior IAS officer Neerabh Kumar Prasad has been appointed as the Chief Secretary of Andhra Pradesh. A 1987 batch IAS officer of the AP cadre, Neerabh Kumar Prasad’s appointment was confirmed through a government order, which also announced the transfer of the current Chief Secretary, Jawahar Reddy.
On Wednesday, Kumar met with TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu in Undavalli. Kumar is currently serving as the Special Chief Secretary of the state’s Environment, Forest, and Science and Technology departments.
Meanwhile, preparations are intensifying at the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) as Chandrababu Naidu’s swearing-in as Chief Minister approaches. Senior IAS officer Muddada Ravichandra has been appointed as the Special Chief Secretary to the Chief Minister and will take charge of the CMO.
