AP Tops National Rankings in Swachh Survekshan, Minister Adimulapu Suresh Shares Success

Andhra Pradesh has garnered a multitude of awards in the Swachh Survekshan initiative. At the national level, the state secured four notable rankings. Minister Adimulapu Suresh, speaking on the occasion, announced that in Swachh Survekshan 2023, Andhra Pradesh clinched four National Awards and one State Level Award, establishing itself as the cleanest city in South India. On the national scale, Guntur achieved the All India 2nd rank, Greater Visakhapatnam secured the All India 4th rank, Vijayawada claimed the All India 6th rank, and Tirupati earned the All India 8th rank.

Notably, Pulivendula Municipality was honored with the Clean City of AP award. These accolades stand testament to the YS Jagan government’s dedicated efforts toward town development. Minister Adimulapu Suresh proudly asserted the success of CM YS Jagan’s Clean AP (Clap) program, highlighting efficient management of wet and dry waste.
