AP High Court Granted Bail To Chnadrababu Naidu in Angallu case

Wednesday, September 18, 2024

The Andhra Pradesh High Court today granted anticipatory bail to former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Nara Chandrababu Naidu in the Angallu 307 case. It is well known that CBN is facing multiple cases including the Inner Ring Road Scam, Fibernet Case, and Angallu 307 case.

The Angallu case is nothing but involving an incident where AP Police registered a case against Mr. Naidu and several other TDP leaders and supporters accusing them of instigating an attack on YSRCP party local leaders. An attempt to murder case has been registered on CBN along with other sections in the case.

Chandrababu Naidu was arrested by the AP CID in the Skill Development Case last month. His bail petition was rejected by the ACB Court in Vijayawada. Andhra Pradesh High Court denied Chandrababu Naidu bail in the Fibernet scam and then CBN moved to the Supreme Court. The hearing is due pending today.
