TDP achieved its first victory in the AP Assembly elections with a decisive win in the Rajahmundry Rural constituency. TDP candidate Gorantla Buchaiah Chowdary secured the seat with an overwhelming majority.
After 20 rounds of vote counting, Gorantla Buchaiah Chowdary emerged victorious with a majority of 64,090 votes. Minister Chelluboyina Venugopalakrishna, the YSRCP candidate, faced a significant defeat. The Election Commission has officially declared Gorantla Buchaiah Chowdary the winner.
Gorantla Buchaiah Chowdary received a total of 1,29,060 votes, while Minister Chelluboyina garnered only 64,970 votes. The local TDP members are celebrating their victory in Rajahmundry Rural.
