The AP Legislative Assembly has decided to issue privilege notices to Sakshi media. Speaker Ch. Ayyannapatrudu referred the Sakshi news stories to the House Privileges Committee. Nandikotkur MLA Jaya Surya has brought the Sakshi news stories to the attention of the House, alleging that crores of rupees were spent without conducting training classes for MLAs.

He demanded disciplinary action against the Sakshi newspaper and the media. He demanded strict action against the stories that alleged the Speaker had misused funds. Speaker Ayyannapatrudu said that the news stories that had come out saying that crores of rupees were misused without training classes hurt him.

The Speaker made it clear that such false stories should not be ignored. He said that he is recommending action against the Sakshi news stories to the House Privileges Committee as per the request of the members. He revealed that further action will be taken based on the report of the House Privileges Committee.

Meanwhile, Speaker Ayyannapatrudu expressed extreme impatience over the behavior of YSRCP members in the House on Monday. He said that Monday’s developments in the House were distressing. He spoke as soon as the Assembly Budget Session began on Tuesday.

He was furious that the YSRCP had acted in a way that would make the society hate it if it invited the Governor as a guest to address the both sessions of the house. The Speaker was furious that the person (YS Jaganmohan Reddy) who was Chief Minister  had behaved without any manners.

The Speaker questioned whether Jagan should have controlled his party leaders while they were displaying placards and tearing speech books and would just sit and laugh. He advised that it was not right for Jaganmohan Reddy to not say that what he was doing was wrong even when he was a senior leader like Botsa.

The Speaker made it clear in the coming days such incidents should not be repeated and advised them from now on, at least, they should act wisely. He said that it is not right for anyone to behave as if he has all the rights except through the Constitution. Speaker Ayyanna said that everyone needs to condemn the YSRCP member’s behavior yesterday.
