Pawan Kalyan’s Ustaad Bhagat Singh has received another setback because the shooting formalities are temporarily halted yet again due to the prevailing political situation in Andhra Pradesh. After a couple of days of shoot, the makers have cancelled the ongoing schedule due to the unavailability of Pawan Kalyan who is currently on a sudden tour in Andhra Pradesh following the arrest of former Chief Minister Chandra Babu Naidu yesterday in Nandyal.
Directed by Harish Shankar, Ustaad Bhagat Singh has Pawan Kalyan playing a ferocious police officer. The film was announced last year, but the regular shooting commenced in Summer this year. After a few days of shooting, Pawan Kalyan kept this project on hold due to his busy political campaigns. Finally, after months of delay, he allotted bulk dates this month.
The present schedule was supposed to commence on this 5th. However, it was later postponed to 7th due to Pawan’s unavailability. While everything appeared to be on track for a non-stop shoot, the arrest of Chandra Babu Naidu led to another unexpected delay. Now, Pawan might return to Hyderabad only after a couple of days based on how the situation unfolds in AP. So, the makers have no other option but to wait for his return. It looks like the film will be released only after the assembly elections in Andhra Pradesh.
Sree Leela and Sakshi Vaidya are the female leads. Mythri Movie Makers is the production house behind this project.
