Anirudh’s strict ‘No’ to tier-2 actors

Anirudh Ravichander is currently the most sought after music composer in the country. After dominating Kollywood with numerous chartbuster albums in the last decade, he is now looking to make in roads in other languages with his stupendous compositions.

Anirudh’s superlative BGM in Rajinikanth’s Jailer and Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan made him a pan-India composer. It won’t be an exaggeration to say that without his outstanding compositions, both these films would have appeared as ordinary commercial films.

As he is in huge demand, Anirudh hiked his remuneration to 10 Crores. He has already signed big-ticket films like NTR’s Devara and Kamal Haasan’s Indian 2. He recently agreed to work on Rajinikanth’s 171th film and Ajith’s upcoming film.

Reportedly, Anirudh has decided not work with tier-2 actors in any language for some time now. Besides those he already signed like Vijay Devarakonda’s film with Gautham Tinnanuri and a medium budget film in Tamil, he is not willing to take up any new projects other than that of star heroes.

The makers of Naga Chaitanya’s upcoming film ‘Thandel Raju’ initially approached Anirudh as they wanted to create more buzz on the film. However, Anirudh has rejected the offer because of his overwhelming work.
