Kiran Abbavaram, who enter Tollywood with the small yet noteworthy film Raja Vaaru Rani Gaaru, slowly carved his own space in the industry without any film background. With successful films such as SR Kalyanamandapam , Sammathame , and Vinaro Bhagyamu Vishnu Katha, Kiran has built a loyal fan base. But it was the movie Ka that actually introduced him to a big turn in his career, earning him the respect he warranted. His next film, Dilruba, again did not see much box office success, and thus the disappointment came for him.
Today, everyone is looking forward to Kiran’s next endeavor K-RAMP, and audiences are eager to know what this movie has in store for him. Up until now, Kiran has been confined to the smaller to mid-range budget movies, usually with technicians of similar scale. However, now he is poised to take a big leap in his career. Kiran will be seen in a big-budget bilingual film, and the best part: the music will be composed by Anirudh Ravichander, one of the best music directors in India.
Working with Anirudh also indicates a big change since the music director has already begun to work primarily with bigger films. This is an adventurous proposition for Kiran, who generally has experience with smaller-budget films. In a recent interview, it was mentioned that Kiran was going to work with Anirudh and following this up by saying it would be directed by a Tamil director. Kiran stated the film is to become and be produced in both Telugu and Tamil and will also have a huge budget.
The combination of a larger scope and an exciting partnership with Anirudh, makes this upcoming film very interesting to pay attention to, as Kiran appears to be ready to take his career to the next level.
