Kollywood’s top composer Anirudh Ravichander is all set to make his mark in Telugu with a couple of films that are in the making. Trade experts opine that Anirudh is in that position where he has every chance to conquer Tollywood as the lead composer.
There were basically two big composers in Telugu in the tier-1-Rockstar Devisriprasad and SS Thaman. Both have been scoring hits for the past couple of years but one can see the monotony in their music given the number of projects they work on. In this regard, Anirudh, who is a master of both class and mass has already conquered the Tamil Industry and is now eager to showcase his talent in Hindi with ‘Jawaan’. In Telugu, which is a wonderful market to be successful, Anirudh proved his mettle with Pawan Kalyan’s ‘Agnathavasi’ and Nani’s ‘Jersey’ and literally pumped soul into those movies with his music alone. Now that both DSP and Thaman have become regular, Anirudh has a huge space to deliver his talent and become number one in Telugu. His songs from Tamil movies are well-received by Telugu movie lovers and already have a strong base.
Anirudh as of now has two movies in Telugu ‘Devara’ with NTR Jr and an untitled film by Vijay Devarakonda directed by Gautam Tinnanuri. If at all the albums of these two movies become hits, then the Telugu makers for sure would consider Anirudh for their upcoming projects.
