Ranbir Kapoor’s latest release Animal, directed by Sandeep Reddy, is creating a box office Tsunami all over the globe. After taking a stupendous start last Friday, the film refused to slow during the first weekend despite mixed reports and moderate reviews. The film grossed over 350 Crores in its opening weekend and turned out to be a blockbuster.
As the performance on the first Monday is very crucial for big-ticket films, trade analysts eagerly anticipated to see how Animal performs on the fourth day at the box office. Exceeding all expectations, Animal created havoc on Monday with a phenomenal haul. The film grossed close to 70 Crores all over the world on Monday and breached into the prestigious 400 Crore club in four days. The total gross stands at 425 Crores as per the production house.
Animal is set to extend its dream run for the next couple of weeks because there are no other biggies slated for release. Salaar and Dunki will hit the screens later this month.
While the domestic numbers are mind-blowing, the overseas collections are nothing short of sensational because Animal is creating havoc in North America, Australia and other international markets.
Ranbir Kapoor’s fantastic performance and Sandeep Reddy’s hard-hitting narration overshadowed the negative reviews and helped the film big-time.
