Ranbir Kapoor’s career biggest blockbuster Animal is refusing to slow down at the box office even after 10 days of its release. The Sandeep Reddy Vanga directional is continuing to smash more records with each passing day in all territories. Animal is already the third biggest-grossing film of 2023 after Pathaan and Jawan.
While the domestic numbers are steady, the overseas figures are simply outstanding even during weekdays. The worldwide gross has now surpassed the 750 Crores mark by the end of 12 days. After a phenomenal first weekend with over 300 crores gross, the film didn’t show any signs of slowing down and extended the blockbuster run into the second weekend with a sensational hold on weekdays.
In North America, Animal is set to topple the lifetime gross of SS Rajamouli’s RRR( $14.2 M) in the next few days. The total gross of Animal now stands at $ 12.5 Million by the end of Tuesday. It has already surpassed the biggest hits like Dangal and Padmavat. The film is now behind Baahubali 2, Pathaan, Jawan and RRR.
Despite facing backlash over the toxic masculinity exhibited by Ranbir Kapoor’s character, Animal emerged as a roaring hit because of the stupendous performances and hard-hitting narration. The BGM and songs also played a significant role in the film’s success.
