Anil Ravipudi presenting a new Balayya

Seasoned actor Nandamuri Balakrishna joined forces with Anil Ravipudi for the first time in his career. The film, titled Bhagavanth Kesari, has been carrying massive expectations ever since its announcement because of the heady combination. The first look teaser presenting Balakrishna in his signature style mass role has received a thumping response.

Ravipudi has a reputation for blending entertainment with masala elements and all his films catered to mass audiences very well. On the other side, Balakrishna’s films are usually packed with over-the-top action blocks and dialogues tinged with political overtones. But, Bhagavanth Kesari is going to be a complete departure from what he has done in recent times.

Reportedly, Ravipudi is presenting Balayya in a never-before-seen avatar with no exaggeration of dialogues and mannerisms. Unlike his previous outings which saw unwarranted elevations and unreasonable violence, Bhagavanth Kesari will be an emotionally charged action drama for Balakrishna’s fans. Also, there will be a considerable dose of entertainment as well. It has been a while since directors explored the comedy angle in Balakrishna’s acting repertoire. Ravipudi is tapping Balakrishna’s comedy chops in Bhagavanth Kesari.

Bhagavanth Kesari has Sree Leela as Balakrishna’s daughter and Kajal Aggarwal as the female lead. The film is slated for release in October.
