Amaravati: The Andhra Pradesh government, led by the YSRCP, aims to complete the ongoing caste census by February 15. They have implemented a plan, emphasizing efficient enumeration and data collection, leveraging their grassroots governance focus. The process involves door-to-door visits, flexibility for residents unable to participate, and a final report by mid-February.
Training and mapping activities are set to conclude by January 12, with the census capturing socio-economic, educational, and employment details. This initiative addresses the longstanding demand for caste census data in India, with the YSRCP fulfilling its promise under Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s leadership.
