“Anaganaga Oka Raju is the latest film to release this Sankranthi, starring Naveen Polishetty and Meenakshi Chaudhary. Directed by Maari, the film revolves around the wedding of a rich rural young man and has garnered positive response through its music and trailer.”

Story:

The film revolves around Raju (Naveen Polishetty), a man from a once wealthy family who is now in financial trouble. The story focuses on his struggles, his marriage with Charulata, the twists and turns that followed and his journey to financial success.

performances:

Naveen Polishetty completely dominates the screen and delivers a highly entertaining performance while carrying the film on his shoulders. Meenakshi Chaudhary plays an important role but her character is not given much scope.

The supporting cast Bulliraju, Mahesh Achanta, Rao Ramesh, Tarak Ponnappa and Madhusudhan deliver decent performances.

analysis:

Anaganaga Oka Raju is directed by Maari and written by Naveen Polishetty. The film takes place in a village setting and begins quite normally. However, thanks to Naveen's humor, several scenes work well.

The writing isn't particularly strong, but a few moments in the love story between Raju and Charulata work well, with good chemistry between the lead actors. The twist at halftime is predictable, but it portends further chaos in the second half.

The second half starts with a hilarious episode and mainly revolves around the election of the village president. Here too, the film is heavily based on Naveen's comedy. While some scenes work well, others fail.

In the last 20 minutes, the film takes an emotional turn and uses the well-known portrayal of the hero realizing his mistakes. While this part adds more seriousness to the film, it feels a bit heavy compared to the overall tone of the film.

Positive:

  • Naveen Polishetty's performance and screen presence
  • Love parts in the first half
  • Funny moments

Negatives:

  • Boring parts in both halves
  • Repeated sound in some places
  • Music could have been better

Anaganaga Oka Raju Review and Verdict:

Overall, Naveen Polishetty delivers a super entertaining film in Anaganaga Oka Raju. Despite its weak moments, especially in the second half, the film manages to entertain
