Hyderabad: Union Home Minister Amit Shah, visiting for the BJP state-level meeting, initiated his trip by offering prayers at Bhagyalakshmi Temple in the old city on Thursday. Police had implemented stringent security measures for Shah’s temple visit, and traffic diversions were in effect at different locations around the historic Charminar and Mecca Masjid.
After his arrival at Shamshabad airport, Shah engaged with key leaders, and subsequently, he performed pooja at Bhagyalaxmi Temple near Charminar. Following this, Shah proceeded to Sloka Convention Hall in Ibrahimpatnam (Ranga Reddy district), located on the outskirts of the city, where the BJP state-level meeting was scheduled for the evening.
