Amit Shah Predicts BJP Will Cross 400 Seats

The NDA government is a new entrant in Andhra Pradesh, stated Union Home Minister Amit Shah during an interview with news agency. Shah expressed confidence in winning approximately 17 Lok Sabha seats in Andhra Pradesh and anticipated a broader victory nationwide. “We will win more than 400 seats across the country, not only in BJP-ruled states but also in those governed by opposition parties,” he asserted.

Amit Shah predicted that the BJP would form governments in Odisha and Arunachal Pradesh this time. He also mentioned plans to implement the Uniform Civil Code (UCC) nationwide after extensive consultations over the next five years, emphasizing that the responsibility for implementing the UCC lies with Parliament and state legislatures as stipulated by the framers of the Constitution. He highlighted that the UCC was among the foundational principles laid down by the Constituent Assembly. After coming to power for the third time, his government will consult all sections of the population to achieve this goal.
