Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone has been making headlines for the past few days following her exit from Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s upcoming film ‘Spirit.’ The exit has sparked a wave of speculation and subtle jabs, with Vanga indirectly accusing the actress of unprofessional behavior and “dirty PR games.”
Initially Deepika Padukone was the choice to be cast as the female lead opposite Prabhas, but she has been ruled out of the project. Later, Tripti Dimri stepped into the female lead role. Rumors swirled that Deepika walked out from the project due to discomfort with bold scenes and remuneration demands, which didn’t go well with Vanga.
This resulted in a cryptic social media post that many believed was aimed at her. While Deepika has remained silent on the controversy itself, she has shared insights on her peace and the kind of people she wants to collaborate with in her recent interview.
The actress said, “I think what keeps me balanced is just being truthful and being authentic. Whenever I’m faced with complicated situations or difficult situations, I think, To be able to listen to my inner voice and just make decisions and stand by decisions that really give me a lot of peace is when I feel most in equilibrium.”
Though she made no direct reference to Spirit or Vanga, many believed that as a subtle nod to the ongoing situation.
