Bollywood actress Ameesha Patel, known to Telugu audiences for her roles in Badri and Nani, has revealed the reasons behind her decision to remain single even at the age of 50. In a recent interview, the actress shared several candid details about her personal life, speaking for the first time about why she has not married.
Ameesha said that although she had dated several people in the past, none of them were sincere or truly understood her. “I have been in relationships with many people, but none of them understood me wholeheartedly. They saw me only for my physical appearance as a woman and never respected my thoughts or decisions,” she said. She added that she has been waiting for someone who can truly connect with her on an emotional level, which is why none of her relationships progressed to marriage.
Despite remaining single, Ameesha clarified that she still believes in the institution of marriage. “I have not lost faith in marriage. If I find the right person, I will definitely get married. I want to have children and start a family,” she said.
