Tollywood veteran actress Akkineni Amala recently spoke about her evolving family life and the special bond she shares with her daughters-in-law, Sobitha Dhulipala and Zainab. In a recent interview, she revealed that their presence has created a “girls’ circle” in her home, bringing a sense of joy and renewal to her daily life. Currently stepping away from films, Amala is dedicating her time fully to family and household life.
She praised her daughters-in-law for their personalities and work ethic, noting that she enjoys seeing them engaged in their respective careers. Amala emphasized the importance of young people staying enthusiastic and creative in their pursuits. “I am blessed with wonderful daughters-in-law. They are remarkable individuals,” she said. She also mentioned that while they focus on their work, she attends to her own responsibilities, and whenever time allows, they spend quality moments together.
Amala also spoke about her sons, Naga Chaitanya and Akhil, expressing pride in how they have grown into responsible and accomplished young men. She highlighted the love and support her husband, Nagarjuna, has shown towards their children, and reassured that she has always prioritized her duties as a mother. Her comments reflected a balance between personal happiness and family commitments.
The actress, who last appeared on screen in 2022 with Okae Oka Jeevitham, has not signed any new film projects since then. She reflected that the recent marriages of her sons—Naga Chaitanya to Sobitha Dhulipala in 2024 and Akhil Akkineni to Zainab in 2025—have brought immense happiness and peace to her life. Amala concluded by saying that this phase of her life is fulfilling and serene, focused entirely on her loved ones.
