The much-anticipated pan-India film Pushpa 2: The Rule, starring Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna and directed by Sukumar, is gearing up for a grand release on December 5. To build excitement, the team hosted the Pushpa 2: The Rule Wildfire Event at the LEO Muthu Indoor Stadium in Chennai. The star-studded event featured Allu Arjun, Rashmika, Sree Leela, and Kollywood director Nelson Dilipkumar. A highlight of the evening was the launch of the special song, “Kissik.”
Speaking at the event, Allu Arjun expressed his deep connection to Chennai, stating, “Chennai holds a special place in my heart as I spent the first 20 years of my life here. Whatever I have achieved today, I dedicate it to this city.” He also credited the producers, Mythri Movie Makers, for their exceptional work on the Pushpa franchise, noting, “Even though we have our own production house, no one could have made Pushpa the way they did.”
The actor praised composer Devi Sri Prasad for his significant contribution to his career, having scored music for 10 out of his 20 films. Addressing the crowd’s enthusiasm, Allu Arjun shared, “I usually avoid dancing at events, but the energy of the Chennai audience made me want to break my rule.”
Allu Arjun also spoke highly of his co-stars, calling Rashmika a vital part of the film’s success and referring to Sree Leela as a “hardworking and super cute girl” whose dance in the song “Kissick” will leave audiences in awe.
Reflecting on his collaboration with Sukumar, he said, “Sukumar is the reason behind my transformation as an actor. After my first film, I was without work for a year, but his trust in me with Arya changed everything. He remains a sincere and dedicated filmmaker who works quietly, even amid massive events like this.”
