Pushpa star and Tollywood actor Allu Arjun’s name is synonymous with controversies in recent times. He has been targeted by Mega family fans after he decided to support his close friend and YSR Congress Party MLA contestant Shipa Ravi Chandra Kishore Reddy before the recent assembly elections. There was a huge backlash when he went to Nandyal and openly gave a call to all his fans to vote for Shipa Ravi.
Irked with Allu Arjun’s decision as Pawan Kalyan has been fighting against the YSRCP for the past five years, Mega fans disowned him completely and targeted him in all sorts. Even Pawan’s brother Naga Babu also indirectly attacked Allu Arjun through his social media account. The differences between Allu Arjun and Mega family are palpable with this incident.
Despite widespread criticism from all quarters, Allu Arjun seems to be undeterred about the negativity that has been spread on him. Moreover, he indirectly defended his decision to support his friend.
During the pre-release event of Maruthi Nagar Subrahmanyam held in Hyderabad, Allu Arjun once again stirred up a controversy with his speech. He said “Naaku Nachite Naa friends kosam ekkadikina vasta” ( I will go till any extent for my friends), he said at the event. He said these words while referring that Sukumar’s wife Thabitha, who is presenting this film, requested him to grace the occasion and support the film.
Though Allu Arjun cited Thabitha’s request, one can clearly read between the lines from his statement that he was indirectly defending his controversial decision to support his friend Shilpa Ravi and has no regrets whatsoever with the consequences despite Pawan Kalyan’s political aspirations.
Bunny’s speech is currently going viral all over and Mega family fans are fully upset with the way he poked them with his statements. How his stance affects Pusha 2 needs to be seen.
