Akhil willing to take another big risk

Akkineni Akhil seems to be undeterred by the disappointing result of his recent offering, Agent, which tanked heavily at the box office and resulted in huge losses for its buyers. He is willing to take another big risk by working with an inexperienced director this time even though his career is in the doldrums due to poor script selection.

As per the latest reports in the industry circles, Akhil is all set to team up with a debut director for his next film. Assistant director of films like Saaho and Radheshyam, Anil Kumar is going to direct Akhil in a big-budget commercial entertainer. Noted production house UV Creations will pool resources for this film which is tentatively titled Dheera.

After the disastrous performance of Agent at the box office, there is a huge clamour from Akkineni fans regarding Akhil’s choice of directors. Fans are demanding Akhil to join hands with top-tier directors and production houses. They are also requesting Nagarjuna to set crazy combinations for Akhil and put his career on the right track by involving in script selection. Against this backdrop, everyone in the industry expected Akhil to work with a top league director for his next project. But, Akhil is unfazed and prefers working with directors who narrate exciting scripts.

Akhil is reportedly pleased with the script narrated by Anil Kumar. He felt that it has the potential to cut across all sections of moviegoers. So, he has no hesitation in giving the final nod. The production house is planning to make this film on a grand scale with a star-studded cast and renowned technicians.
