Tamil popular actor Ajith Kumar lost his father at the age of 84 earlier today. According to the sources, Ajith’s father P. Subramaniam has been suffering from age related health issues for some time and breathed his last in the early hours of Friday (March 24) at their Chennai residence.
Ajith along with his family members shared the news in a press note as- Our father, P.S. Mani, passed away in the early hours of this morning, in his sleep, after a long illness. He was 85. We are grateful for the care and support provided to him and our family by a number of medical professionals, especially following his debilitating stroke of four years ago. We are comforted, at this time of grief, that he lived a good life and knew the undying love of our mother, his partner of nearly six decades.’
Ajith family further requested the fans and netziens to give their family some privacy to grieve their loss of loved ones. Meanwhile upon hearing this saddening news, many fans and followers took to social media and offered their condolences to Ajith and his family members.
On the work note, Ajith will soon join the sets of his upcoming untitled film AK62. According to the reports, Tamil filmmaker Vignesh Shivan was initially roped in as the director for AK62. But due to some reasons, Magizh Thirumeni is now being considered for the same role. However there is no official announcement has been made yet by the makers.
