‘Manam’ is a timeless masterpiece from the legendary Akkineni family that stands as the finest classic film in Telugu cinemas. The classic film entertainer, which originally graced the silver screens in 2014, now completes a remarkable decade since its cinematic debut.
To commemorate the 10th year anniversary, the makers of ‘Manam’ have announced a special theatrical release on May 23. As part of the re-release promotion, actor Naga Chaitanya initiated the 10-year challenge by recreating his iconic Prema dialogue from Manam.
Taking to his Instagram, the actor shared a video of the recreation of his memorable Prema dialogue, thereby initiating and passing the challenge to all Akkineni fans to join in the 10-year challenge. Following Naga Chaitanya, actor Sushanth also embraced the challenge flawlessly and recreated the iconic dialogue ahead of its re release.
Directed with finesse by Vikram K. Kumar, ‘Manam’ resonates deeply with Telugu audiences, especially Akkineni fans, as it portrays the late ANR’s poignant last appearance. A compelling narrative and cinematic masterpiece, the film brings together three generations of Akkineni luminaries: ANR, Akkineni Nagarjuna, Naga Chaitanya, and Akhil. This film marked Akkineni Akhil’s debut in the Telugu film industry.
Produced by the legendary Akkineni family under the prestigious banner of Annapurna Studios, the film had a stellar star-studded cast, including Amitabh Bachchan, Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Akkineni Amala, Shriya Saran, Raashi Khanna, Lavanya Tripathi, Brahmanandam, Ali, and many others in pivotal roles.
