Mythological behemoth ‘Adipurush’, starring Prabhas and Kriti Sanon in the lead roles, is the last hope for trade circles as it has been a dull Summer season so far. The Om Raut directional is carrying massive expectations in all territories and it is set for a humongous opening worldwide on June 16th.
Ahead of its release, Adipurush got a big boost from the Telangana government. As per the latest reports, Adipurush will have early morning shows all over Telangana. An official order to this effect allowing single screens to start shows as early as 4 AM on the first three days has been released by the government. Also, the order stated that a hike of Rs. 50 has been allowed for single screens across the state during the first three days starting from June 16th.
So, all multiplexes and single screens will have 5 to 6 shows in the first three days with a ticket price of Rs. 295 and Rs. 235 respectively. This is a big boost for the openings of Adipurush in Naizam, which is the biggest territory in the Telugu States. It is already a known fact that the film was sold for astronomical prices in Andhra and Telangana. So, a hike and grant of additional shows will boost the numbers for sure. Permission from the Andhra Pradesh government regarding ticket hikes is yet to be received.
Adipurush is based on the Hindu epic Ramayana. The trailers and teasers received a thumping response from all quarters. T-Series Bhusan Kumar and Retrophiles have jointly bankrolled this big-budget mythological drama.
